Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Association

Take part in any of ABDNHA's more than 175 fun and educational desert programs each year, hikes, lectures, 4WD, stargazing, full moon walks, all open to the general public, or stop by the ABDNHA Desert Nature Center for the best selection of books, guides, maps, desert gifts, and local information. The non-profit educational Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Association has been an important part of Borrego Springs since 1971 and was, in fact, the organization that raised the funds for the state park's visitor center.

ABDNHA is also the sponsoring organization of the Borrego Hawk Watch, the Borrego Desert Photographers Club, Borrego Desert Gardeners, the Borrego Rock and Gem Club (BRAG), as well as several annual events: The Borrego Desert Garden Tour, The Borrego Desert Birding Festival, Annual Chili Night, and California Desert History Weekend. We also have many opportunities to get involved as a volunteer in everything that we do.

We look forward to seeing you in Borrego Springs!
