Community

One of my favorite things about Borrego Springs is its close community.  As I started coming to Borrego Springs High School my freshman year, I got to experience this first hand.  Everyone at school made me feel welcomed, although it did take some time to get used to everyone, now we are all like family; figuratively and literally.  Even if someone is not family they are still welcomed almost immediately.  This community is like a second family.  This community cares about you no matter who you are.  I believe that, even if I'm not fully a local, being part of the community and having been welcomed by them, gives me a good idea of just how close we all are.
