Rainy Night Brings Green Day!

The impressive storm front that passed through the Borrego Valley on Saturday, along with the rain from last month, has blossomed the desert into vibrant shades of green. The ocotillos are almost electric. Barrel cactus, sage and creosote, among others, have bloomed. Temperatures are more comfortable by the day, especially in the mornings, which are downright cool, and later in the day, which make for great hiking. It’s now the season to get out and explore. Come next weekend to enjoy the annual Borrego Days Festival, but make sure to bring your hiking shoes and Experience Anza-Borrego Desert in all its greenery! BorregoExperience.com
