Box Canyon Trail

If you are looking for an easy hike to a beautiful dry waterfall, Box Canyon trail off of S2 is just the ticket.  Venture forward on a footpath first traveled by American Indians, followed by the Mormon Battalion, gold rush emigrants, Overland Stagecoaches, and finally...you!  The meandering trail leads through a beautiful canyon that offers relatively easy hiking.  Spring is a favorite time to visit Box Canyon and you can anticipate seeing a variety of reptiles and plant life.  A historic landmark sign along S2 marks the start of your adventure.  Click HERE for a few photos and a short description.

To avoid confusion please note, another Box Canyon exists in the northern section of ABDSP in the Coyote Canyon area.
