Coachwhip Canyon

Coachwhip wash creates a beautiful canyon to explore on foot or behind the wheel of your 4wd vehicle.  From the entrance off of S22 it is just over a mile back along the main road.  The road splits about halfway back and choosing either right or left is a great choice!  Along the way you will notice a multitude of side canyons to explore as well as places to picnic or camp for the evening.  Keep your eyes open for some unique geologic formations and springtime often boasts a variety of wildflowers.  Sections of loose sand along the road back my limit your vehicle travel so drive smart and go explore!
