Kesling's Kitchen

Fresh ingredients and a wood-fired oven are at the heart of what makes Kesling's Kitchen such a unique dining experience!
We offer an ever-changing menu using seasonal ingredients in a kitchen that centers around a Mugnaini wood-fired oven from Healdsburg, California. Offerings include Neapolitan style pizzas, flatbread sandwiches, salads and more.

Chef Tom’s Mediterranean themed menu is prepared in house, from scratch, with the finest produce and ingredients possible, all in a casual atmosphere. Our modern beer and wine bar offers an ever-changing variety of wines and craft beers on tap. Enjoy a pint/glass with your meal, or while waiting for a take-away order.

Curious about our name? Noted La Jolla architect William Kesling designed our building, the original home of Woods’ Market. Using his name connects us to the history of our community while recognizing the timelessness of his modern design. We share his 1951 mid-century modern building—restored in 2015/16 by local architect Richard Orn—with the Borrego Art Institute, a non-profit gallery and creative space dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the community of Borrego Springs.
