Summer always starts earlier in the desert. We already see temperatures just under triple digits. This is when the Park becomes quieter, and nature leans on all its skills to survive the harsh season.
With over 400 miles of unpaved roads to explore getting off road to places like Coyote Canyon, Blair Valley and Fish Creek, to name a few, is an unparalleled experience here in Anza-Borrego.
While weather patterns did not result in enough rain, at the right time, to support a “super bloom” this year, there are still a number of colorful desert plants flowering in the Borrego region’s Colorado Desert this time of year.
The Galleria at The Palms at Indian Head, The Courts, The House of Borrego Springs East and West Galleries and the Borrego Art Institute are all participating on Saturday April 2 at 5 p.m. for ARTWALK.
